If you have ever waited weeks for a $40 replacement roller while your line sat idle, you know the problem with the conveyor parts supply chain.

The standard route: original manufacturer, master distributor, regional distributor, local rep, and finally you. Every link adds margin, adds time, and adds a phone call when something goes wrong. There is a faster, cheaper way. Buying conveyor parts factory-direct shows up on your invoice and in your uptime.

The Hidden Cost of Distributor Markups

Distributors serve a real purpose. They stock parts locally, help with selection, and extend credit terms. But every supply chain layer takes a margin, typically 20% to 40%.

A $50 replacement roller from a manufacturer can easily become a $90 roller by the time it reaches you. Multiply that across an annual parts budget, and the math gets ugly fast. Buying direct from the manufacturer eliminates those layers. You get the same part, often the exact part the distributor would have shipped, at the factory price.

Pricing is one thing. Downtime is another problem entirely. When a conveyor goes down, every hour of idle production costs you. Labor sits, orders back up, and customers wait. Even a half-day outage is a serious financial event.
